HGOC History

The institution began by establishing medical technical and allied health training programs, recognized under the relevant provincial and national regulatory bodies (including the Pharmacy Council of Pakistan and the Pakistan Nursing Council). The initial campuses focused on offering specialized diplomas such as Pharmacy Technician and Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT), providing accessible, career-oriented education to students across Punjab.

Expansion into Higher Education

Recognizing the need for higher professional degrees, HGOC expanded its academic portfolio significantly. A major milestone in the group's history was the establishment of its flagship campus—the Hamza College of Pharmaceutical & Allied Health Sciences—located on Ferozepur Road (Pak-Arab Society) in Lahore.

University Affiliation: The college successfully secured a formal affiliation with the University of the Punjab to offer the prestigious 5-year Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D) degree.Capacity Building: Over successive academic sessions, the institution consistently met stringent educational criteria, allowing it to expand its approved student intake capacity to 100 students per session
